CROW "If you have ghosts, You have everything." Biography - Tagged: @razza
Crow had led Alys from the safe haven and onto the road. The journey was quick, running into no problems with people nor beasts. Crow lifted his face to the sun as they walked along, enjoying the heat on his skin even for just a little while. His amber eyes turned to look to Alys from the corner of his eyes as he couldn’t help but watch her in wonder. He wasn’t exactly swooning for her, just intrigued. Even in a realm like this, he didn’t find too many girls willing to scavenge for parts with him. His brows rose wordless and he turned to look onward and the junkyard in the distance.

ALYS THILDORN
Alys followed Crow's lead out of the safety of the mall and through the streets of the city. She didn't ask, but she could tell they were headed in the direction of the old dump. Surprisingly enough, despite her previous bad mood, she didn't feel very bothered by this at all, despite the lack of useful items she'd find for herself there. Crow was good company and didn't try to force any conversation, which was nice. Even at the sight of him turning his face upwards to soak in the weather Alys found herself doing the same, rolling up her shirt sleeves and taking a few deep breaths, relieved to be away from any crowds - undead or otherwise.
After a few more minutes of walking they finally arrived at the scrapyard. Alys was quick to pick out a torn piece of the chain link fence that surrounded the perimeter, wide enough for a person to squeeze through, but she hesitated. With a serious face she turned to Crow. "Do those gangs still hang around here?" With her inquiry out in the air she turned back to the fence, climbing up on its side part way so she could peer into the scrapyard. There was nobody in sight, but if gangs were around they needed to be cautious.

Toni Selene-Amber Welch
The age-thinned and frayed straps of Toni's backpack began to dig into her shoulders, but she was unwilling to put it down. Everything she owned was in there. Her dwindling rations were in there, the variety of small pocket knives she gathered before hitting the road, and the elephant in the room which loomed out of the half-closed zipper was her crossbow - only to be used in case of an emergency. Maybe once this backpack had been weatherproof, but not now, now it was about as water resistant as a paper kitchen towel. It was older than the nuclear fallout was and the zip got stuck sometimes, but it was all she had. With her trusted trailing pointed knife at her side, Toni continued down the road with her new companion, only to notice others. She turned to Aiden slowly and rose her index finger, "there could be more, don't let your guard down," she remarked. Instead of continuing to a different location, curiosity begged to be the most dominant trait and Toni calmly walked towards the duo. "Do those gangs still hang around here?" Toni laughed softly as she wandered up to the pair, "they used to, but I haven't seen them in a few weeks. Last I saw they were taking T59," Toni spoke to them as if they were long lost friends. Toni didn't observe the strangers' features at first like she normally does, but she slowly began to take them in. She focused on the blonde first, her eyes were the color of kelp on the shore, flecked with splinters of driftwood. Then the lad, his hair was as wild as the jungle, untamable and unruly. Though, Toni found it cool. "Toni," she introduced herself, same as before at the Carnival - she placed her knife in her left hand while she extended the right. Knotted into a fist she waited for them to take the obvious route and not to leave her hanging.

Aiden ReeseAiden did a little hop as he continued along with his new partner, his hands tucked under the straps of his smaller leather backpack to prevent them from digging too much into his shoulders. He straightened his back with a grunt and rolled his shoulders as his eyes looked over the junkyard. His own bag really only held the last of his rations, a spare pocket knife, and some random junk he came across on their journey. His attention was quickly captured by the new people and he couldn’t help but look them over with an eager grin. Unlike Toni, he was known to bring his guard down quickly around those of the living. It was just in his nature. “Aye, captain.” He nodded to Toni’s warning anyway and stuck close as they approached the pair. He remained quiet at first, allowing Toni to do most of the talking but as soon as she introduced herself to them, he eagerly hopped in, “I’m Aiden.” He shifted his weight from one foot to the other, studying the strangers. He found them to be quite the pair himself, perhaps an unexpected match up.

Crow spun on his heels to turn and study the two who suddenly appeared. He looked around, not having expected meeting someone so quickly. With their introductions and kind looks on their faces he could only assume they weren’t part of the gang Toni mentioned. He cleared his throat and bumped fists with Toni. “Crow.” He said slowly as he looked between Toni and Aiden, taking his time with each. Eventually he stepped back to be along side Alys with her vulnerability of hanging on the fence. He was still cautious over these two.

ALYS THILDORN
Alys' ears were waiting for a response from Crow, her eyes still flicking around the mounds of scrap as she peered over the fence, and ultimately it was for that reason that she was caught so off guard. The unfamiliar feminine voice caught Alys so off guard that she almost didn't hear the response, her body flinching on instinct and before she knew it her right hand and foot released the fence so it was just her left side keeping her on, her hand flying to the pocket of her jeans that held her switchblade as her head whipped around. She watched as a pair of strangers casually walked up to her and Crow, introducing themselves as Toni and Aiden. Alys rolled her eyes when she saw the girl offer her knuckles.
She stayed silent as Crow took the lead, only hopping down from her perch on the chain link when he came to stand near her. "Alys," she introduced curtly after a pause. Her eyes scanned over the strangers warily, until finally she removed her hand from her pocket, the blade left behind for now but not forgotten. For all she knew these two could be in the gang themselves. With a sideways glance at Crow she finally asked, "Is there something we can help you with, or?" Her tone was anything but kind or genuine, it was clear she wanted this interaction to be over.

With a brow quirked, Toni let out a soft sigh as she dropped her hand, "we're here for the same reason you are," she announced. Her eyes strayed to the yard; the junkyard was where lots of the street civilization lived. People climbed into those high piled rusty cars like they were bunk beds and slept while the scarce rain railed against the cracked windshields and metal work. In winter Toni and her friends used to set fire made from tires and watch the thick black smoke disappear into the bitter air. "Simply scavenging. To my knowledge, this is the only enterance on this side of the fence," she stated calmly. "How many walkers have you guys killed?" she asked as she pulled back the loose chain-link-fence, waiting for Aiden to crouch through.

Aiden ReeseAiden made an awkward face as he glanced over at Toni through the corner of his eyes. He was hoping the encounter would be a lot more like how he met Toni, but the tension only gave him disappointment. He tugged his backpack off his shoulders and widened his eyes down at the ground after his companion’s question. As long as the question wasn’t turned back onto him, he would be fine. He was not sure if he could handle another embarrassment that day. “Hopefully, you haven’t had many encounters?” Aiden tossed the backpack through the opening before crouching down and sliding himself through the hole. He scanned over the new area for any others before taking his turn in holding up the fence for them. He looked over the three carefully. He was a lot iffier on Alys based on her response to their greetings, but he wasn’t one to show it. The last thing he wanted was to make enemies with those of the living. Tags: Kairos @razza Azrael

“What kind of question is that?” Crow asked with an odd look on his face. He watched Aiden climb through then looked to Toni and Alys, politely offering them to go first. “As many encounters as anyone else. I don’t exactly make a sport out of killing them, let alone counting.” Crow wasn’t exactly a professional zombie killer but what he said was true, he mostly avoided what he could but he could also fend for himself. He eyed Alys during this topic, wondering what she’d make of it.

ALYS THILDORN
Alys’ mouth turned down into a small frown, the crease between her eyebrows furrowing. This kind of thing has happened before, where she’s run into a separate group scavenging in the same spot, and considering that most others were straight up hostile it was probably for the best if she didn’t make a scene with these guys. She didn’t like that they were here, but as long as they weren’t attacking it was easier to keep her mouth shut and play nice.
Alys watched as Aiden climbed through the fence, hesitating to go through herself. Instead she returned Crow’s gaze, finally answering Toni. “I mean... enough?” She looked at Toni silently for another beat. “We’ve been lucky today. Hadn’t seen any on the way here.” With her two cents added Alys nodded to herself, brushing past Crow and making her way through the gap in the fence. She followed Aiden’s lead, taking off her backpack and sliding it through before shimmying in herself, quickly straightening back up. She glanced at Aiden briefly, her lips thinning and pulling back in an awkward sort of half smile.

Toni Selene-Amber Welch
"Merely curiosity," if they were scavenging all in the same yard, Toni hoped if a crowd of walkers showed up then they would be capable of taking them down. With no hesitation, Toni would have their backs. After offering a soft nod to aknowledge Alys's statement, Toni tossed her bag through the breached hole and crouched through. "Just be wary of biters in the scrap metal settlements," Toni remarked as she stood at Aiden's side, waiting for Crow to enter the yard.

Aiden Reese
Aiden, unable to help it, gave Alys a warm smile back, “ I wish we could say the same. Toni is kind of a life saver, I was a total goner.” He shrugged with a little nervous laugh, looking to Toni with a nod of acknowledgement. He thought back to the gurgling zombie he had attempted to fight off, then the horrifying leg incident. His face paled and he visibly shuddered at the image, his stomach lurching at the idea of going through a similar situation. He turned his attention to Crow and waved him over, holding the fence open for him. Tags: Kairos @razza Azrael

Crow nodded as the girls safely went through and took one last look around behind him for any followers. When he saw none, he deemed it safe and moved over to the fence to climb through. Although, he forgot about the critical mass that was his backpack and got hung up in the links. He grunted and jerked, flailing for a second until the pack came loose. He stood up straight and shook himself out, feeling completely foolish but hoped the others wouldn't take it to too much notice.

ALYS THILDORN
Alys was surprised at Aiden's returning smile. She wasn't very used to that breed of immediate kindness and it threw her off a bit, so she turned away while listening to the others speak. She didn't say a word at Toni's admittedly helpful tip, but after hearing Aiden sing her praises Alys muttered a simple "I'm sure." If only to let them know she was still paying attention. Her eyes scanned around the yard, not really sure where to go or what to be looking for, but eager to get started. She grew tired of waiting for Crow and spun on her heel so she was facing the group again, immediately catching sight of the scene in front of her. Alys bit the inside of her cheek to try and hold back any sound of amusement, turning her gaze to the suddenly fascinating ground as he situated himself. "Well then. If we're all ready to go?" Her mouth was still twitching with the effort not to grin, but she looked at Crow now, counting on him to take the lead as he was the one who knew what he was looking for.
